Professor Kristofer Pister’s research team at the Berkeley Sensor and Actuator Center hosted a Hands-on Workshop on Networking Wireless Inertial Sensors in the Fall of 2010. Showcasing custom low-weight, low-power, networked sensor-rich platforms, the workshop had dozens of attendees and a multitude of technical demonstrations. Along with Dr. Thomas Wattenye & Dr. Anita Flynn, who drove the software & hardware components, respectively, I assisted with various components of the software & hardware testing and development. The workshop showcased state-of-the-art implementations of IETF 6LoWPAN, and IEEE 802.15.4e There is a poster available here , website here and slides from the talks are available here.
